Amorphous granular charcoal is produced from hard fruit shells such as coconut shells. The process is that the coconut shells are first carbonized, crushed and screened to a certain particle size before entering the activation furnace. After activation, impurities such as sand and nails are separated by a vibrating screen and a sand removal machine, and then mechanically crushed and screened into finished coconut shell activated carbon of the required particle size.
The production of coconut shell activated carbon physical water vapor method is generally divided into two processes:
The first step is carbonization. The coconut shell is dried, pyrolyzed, and cooled at a temperature of about 170°C to 400°C to carbonize its organic tissue and become coconut shell carbonized material.
The second step is activation. The carbonized material that has been carbonized in the first step is sent into the activation furnace. It fully reacts with water vapor at a high temperature of 600-800°C to complete the activation process and make the finished product.
