Activated carbon is made of carbon source materials such as coal, wood, bamboo and coconut shell. It can be produced by one of the following processes:

Physical activation: the precursor uses gas to develop into activated carbon. This is usually done by using or combining one of the following processes:

Carbonization: pyrolysis of carbonaceous substances at a temperature of 600-900 ℃ without air (usually in inert gas, such as argon or nitrogen).

Activation / oxidation: raw materials or carbonized materials are exposed to an oxidizing environment (carbon dioxide, oxygen or steam) above 250 ℃, usually between 600-1200 ℃.

Fruit shell activated carbon is a very useful adsorbent product, which can be used not only to remove the chromaticity of wastewater, but also to remove the chromaticity of wastewater. There are many studies on the treatment of dye wastewater with fruit shell activated carbon products at home and abroad, but most of them are combined with other processes. The adsorption of fruit shell activated carbon products is mainly used for advanced treatment or as carrier and catalyst. The treatment effect of fruit shell activated carbon products is equivalent to that of fruit shell activated carbon products.

Activated carbon for water treatment can adsorb most organic matter in water. Most organic matter is adsorbed on the surface of activated carbon, which can significantly reduce the COD value of water. When organic pollution becomes the main hazard, activated carbon becomes the umbrella of water quality to deal with all kinds of unknown organic pollution. Activated carbon removes residual chlorine from water. Activated carbon removes residual chlorine from water through redox reaction. In practical application, the mechanism shows that when the adsorption of activated carbon is saturated, that is, when the reduction of COD is not obvious, the activated carbon will be removed as long as the water flow rate is controlled. Chlorine still has a good effect.
